The mission of NJROTC is to develop a community of confident, self-disciplined leaders and educated citizens who seek to achieve personal excellence.  To promote selfless service towards the common good.  To provide an environment that fosters character building and which opens multiple opportunities to become stronger morally, mentally, and physically and to imbue the cadets with the highest ideals of integrity, courage, commitment and patriotism.  To foster respect for self and for others and a sense of accountability for one's actions and behavior.  To prepare graduates who enthusiastically embrace learning, effectively communicate ideas, demonstrate quality work and make informed and responsible decisions.

UNIT GOALS FOR 2009/2010
1.  Achieve and maintain a company of 110 cadets throughout the 2009/2010 school year.
2.  Achieve academic excellence in NJROTC.
3.  Achieve active involvement in the company.

   NS1s SHOULD KNOW THE FIRST FIVE ORDERS TO THE SENTRY, THE COMMANDER-IN CHIEF, THE SECRETARY OF DEFENSE, THE SECRETARY OF THE NAVY, THE CHIEF OF NAVAL OPERATIONS, THE AREA MANAGER, THE SNSI, THE NSI, THE CO, AND THE XO.

  WANT TO EARN AN EXEMPLARY APPEARANCE RIBBON AT ANNUAL INSPECTION? PAY SPECIAL ATTENTION TO YOUR SHOES. OUR GUEST INSPECTOR IS VERY IMPRESSED WITH SHINY SHOES.
IF YOU HAVE PARTICIPATED IN THREE COLOR GUARDS, PLEASE REQUEST THE COLOR GUARD QUIZ.  A 90% OR BETTER ON THE QUIZ AND YOU WILL EARN THE COLOR GUARD RIBBON.  

   DRILL PRACTICE FOR AREA 04 INSPECTION:  TUESDAY, 9FEB.  ALL CADETS WHO PERFORMED AT LAST MEET ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND.
